While it's always recommended to not travel alone, doing a self recovery with your front-mounted Winch may be your only option in a remote area without help, but the winch alone won't allow you to safely recover your vehicle. Ideally, to alleviate extra strain on your vehicle, you would have a friend or passerby in their vehicle use the supplied Snatch Strap and Rated Bow Shackles to use kinetic energy to remove you from the stuck position. This complete kit includes all that you will need to winch your vehicle to recovery, or snatch your vehicle out of a stuck position using the Dobinsons 4x4 Snatch Strap and Rated Bow Shackles (D-rings). The kit comes complete in a compact bag to hold everything, leaving a bit more space for any additional recovery items you would like to store together.
